I liked the story. When I saw it was called "Magick Charm" and that it was about twins I was excited. I imagined what the book would be like and the probable way the story would unfold and it did not do that. I liked that. I loved the element of being surprised! I thought for sure they will do a spell and every single man will be obsessed and it would be cute and cuddly like an old episode of Bewitched or I Dream of Jeannie but it did not do that either.The story gave us a great picture of two different people and the other characters in their lives not to mention a ferret. I loved how the interaction was so just like the complicated people that I know. I cared about the characters. Another thing that I liked about the book was that it left some questions left unanswered. Sometimes after finishing a book or a trip to the theater I like not having all the pieces and using my imagination to wonder. It was a fast, fun read with characters that I really liked. I can't wait to read more from Jennifer Wells.

Good story with a twist I didn't expect. It read with the energy of a great story teller. Once I started reading, I didn't want to put it down.
Very good book...storyline is fresh and new... great characters and in New Orleans! Hope there will be a sequel novel this one! More witchcraft though is needed
This first novel by newcomer Jennifer Wells is sure to be followed by a second. Magick Charm is a fun ride. The dramatic action starts with the first sentence and never lets up. The engaging characters capture your heart and make you want to go to New Orleans and hang out with them. A refreshing surprise is the biting humor that infuses every page (literally...our heroine coins the all-time comeback of "Bite Me!" a few times!). Characterized as a paranormal romance novel, in fact this highly-original book offers much to take it across genre lines everyday settings made exotic; well-written and non-gratuitous, non-graphic sexual tension; snappy, modern dialogue that rings true; suspense; characters you want to invest your time in getting to know; and a magickal plot line that ties-in nicely yet does not overwhelm the reader. Magick Charm is sure to please.
I loved this story. Normally, I'm drawn to a darker work, but the upbeat, fast-paced storyline kept me turning the pages and wandering what trouble Rachel would cause and how far Janie would go to save ger sister's rear.Charming and hilarious, I've been shoving this book into the hands of anyone who will listen. Great story and I can't wait to find out what happens with Rachel.
You'll love this book! I really enjoyed the relationship dynamic between the sisters. They couldn't be more different from each other if they tried! I can definitely relate to the more conservative twin.) I like this book immensely, and I can't wait for a sequel! This has the makings of a fabulous series. I think I'll read it again.
Not a book about serious magic practicing women, but more a cautionary tale of the old adage “be careful what you wish for”. Bumbling twin sisters who believe they are so different realize they judge too harshly after walking in each other’s shoes. Literally. Sweet book about sisterhood, creepy stalkers & how your high ideals can actually be your downfall. Recommended light read.
Magick Charm by Jennifer Wells is a thoroughly delightful & witty paranormal romance! "Twintuition" has never been so much fun as Janie Adler and her twin sister Rachel embark on a supernatural adventure after their experiment in dabbling with spells turns out (gulp) terribly wrong. Jennifer Wells does a wonderful job of showing how these two sisters' personalities are yin & yang, making their inevitable clashes of will full of snappy repartee and charming moments. Add a stalker into this mix, plus a setting in the perennial spooky city of New Orleans, and you have an absolutely page-turning novel that you won't want to stop reading! If you are looking for a light-hearted paranormal romance to curl up with on a dark and stormy night, Magick Charm will keep you smiling long into the night.
