I was undecided between a 3 or 4 star rating. This book is advertised as being 434 pages long, however, it could have been written much shorter in length, maybe 300 to 325 pages, if all the whining, crying and vomiting of the daughter and mother were removed. A slight mention of it would be okay, but to dwell on it was ridiculous. This really had no direct effect on the outcome of the story. It was a waste of the authors time and talent, unless of course, she just wanted to make the story a little longer and more boring. I finally did reach a point where I knew when daughter and mother were going to start crying, and I just scrolled ahead of all that, and I still didn't lose the plot of the story.Product details

Critical Play Michael Cailen Book 3 eBook Mel LeBrun Reviews
This is a very well written series in 4 books.
I would like to recommend this book to everyone who wants to read a very interesting and exciting new story where the action never stops. These books blend in very well. I hope this author keeps the series going. I have found that these books are very hard to put down. I will be looking forward to reading the next book from this author.
Another great work from Mel. Thoroughly enjoyed this one, just as I had the other two. Looking forward to the next in the series...
Another good book in a great series.
The plot is fast paced with numerous subplots that keep you turning the page. The characters are interesting and well developed. It is well written and scenes are very descriptive. I really enjoyed this series and while it was three years between books two and three, it was worth the wait.
